A group of armed Israeli settlers have attacked Palestinian farmers in a village in the West Bank, forcing them to leave their land, witnesses at the scene say.
The settlers threatened the farmers to leave their fields in the Qusra village or face the consequences, Maan news agency reported on Friday.
The Palestinian farmers were driven away from their lands, said Ghassan Doughlas, an official responsible for settlement activities in northern West Bank.
The official called on the international community to seek protection for Palestinians from “violent settlers.”
Doughlas said that the continued aggression could damage hopes for a just solution to the settlement row.
